On the 20th June, The Oxford Innovation Society’s meeting and dinner reception were held, featuring the subject of collaboration between the UK and Japan in research into new technologies.  This event was co-hosted by the Embassy of Japan in the UK and Oxford University Innovation.

Dr Matt Perkins, CEO of Oxford University Innovation and H.E. Mr Koji Tsuruoka, Ambassador of Japan to the UK made opening speeches to celebrate a long history of collaborative research between the two countries.   Other speakers, including representatives from Japanese companies, introduced the latest technologies and potential possibilities for further collaboration between the UK and Japan.

OBM supported both organisations to identify sponsors and relevant speakers for the meeting.  We hope that this event triggers more research opportunities between the University of Oxford and Japanese companies.
